Daniel Gangler, owner, is a
3rd generation finisher taking the lead in the family
business. They have been providing decorative finishing services here in the Chicagoland
area for over 50 years. His grandfather, Leo
Spiros, first started creating finishes mainly on furniture.
Now, together with his wife, they have expanded to creating
designs on virtually any surface. Though taught
directly from the family 'Masters', Daniel is an Art major
and has mainly schooled at the Chicago Inst. of Fine
Finishes. Based in the Chicago metropolitan area, Liquid Art
Design has been featured in newspapers, trade journals,
television's Builders & Buyers show, the Chicago Luxury Home
Tour, and HGTV. Client work has extended to
Wisconsin, Ohio,
Indiana, Missouri, New York, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Mexico.
Dan also writes a 'green' column for the trade magazine
'Artistically Speaking' and is also available for guest
lectures and speaking engagements.
Updating not only finishes but also product
selection is a great focus. Daniel likes to say he uses nothing but the 'real deal'
stuff. And it's true. Liquid Art Design can create entire
finishes and even painted surfaces using eco-friendly
materials while not compromising quality. Not to
