Daniel Gangler, owner, is a 3rd generation finisher taking the lead in the family business. They have been providing decorative finishing services here in the Chicagoland area for over 50 years.  His grandfather, Leo Spiros, first started creating finishes mainly on furniture. Now, together with his wife, they have expanded to creating designs on virtually any surface.  Though taught directly from the family 'Masters', Daniel is an Art major and has mainly schooled at the Chicago Inst. of Fine Finishes.

Based in the Chicago metropolitan area, Liquid Art Design has been featured in newspapers, trade journals, television's Builders & Buyers show, the Chicago Luxury Home Tour, and HGTV.  Client work has extended to Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, New York, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Mexico. Daniel also writes articles and product reviews for trade magazines and papers. Need a guest speaker? Daniel is also available for instructional workshop teaching, guest lectures, and speaking engagements.

 

Updating not only finishes but also product selection is a great focus.  Daniel likes to say he uses nothing but the 'real deal' stuff.  And it's true. Liquid Art Design can create entire finishes and even painted surfaces using eco-friendly materials while not compromising quality.  Plus, some of his materials are exclusively applied.  He also feels that aside from the higher level of products used, it is design personalization that sets his creations apart from other decorative finishers.

Liquid Art Design offers a complete range of specialized design services.  Perhaps you have already visited our galleries and seen some of our finishes. Along with dozens and dozens of finishes in our catalog, what we do best is making a design just for you. But there is much more that we offer.

Exceptional service is one area that we excel in. Along with creating your unique design, we also offer personal color consultations.  

Having trouble deciding what colors to choose? How colors can flow throughout the rest of the house? Or, how to put the range of colors you'd like together? Even if your decorating doesn't include special finishes we can help.  Scheduling a consultation with us is easy.  When we come out we'll bring with us all the tools and the 'know how' to put together a great color design scheme.
